Anybody get this yet? Did it make it to comic shops this week or will we have to wait another week?

Well I got it today (UK) and as my 1st Futurama Comic I can say it kicked ass!
Very good Terminator spoof, and I loved all of it, nice and funny and more adult than the Simpsons Comics. Only bad thing is that Coney Island turned into a "real" college (OK so they had hooker classes but still) Oh well we got to see Leela nude WAHOO! |

Not as nude as you might think.
I picked up this issue yesterday and it was a fun read. The art wasn't as good as some of the other issues and there were a couple of plot points that didn't get picked up but it was still a good issue. I thought there was a nice twist on having Leela as the bad robot and wanting to stop Fry from reaching the year 3000. The second little story was kind of cool as well. This was the second issue in a row that we have gotten a small second feature. Wonder if Bongo is laying the groundwork for some flip books as well and ultimately some spin-offs. I think I would have prefered to see this story in its own book much like it was originally intended for. An Anthology of Interest series would be great! As an added bonus we could get Scary Door stories thrown in as well! Anyways back to Futurama Comics 7. Good issue but not the best so far. Can't wait for the next issue sometime in late March or early April to see the X-men parody. Hope it is as good as the image from the calendar. RM |
